Partner organisations
The ELAYS could not have been created and developed without the friendly support of our many partners and sponsors, under the patronage of the University of Geneva.
We are very grateful to the three partners that support us from beginning to end with the realization of the ELAYS: from the conceptualization of the ELAYS to finding solid Latino projects and motivated participants and, finally, monitoring of the new projects that will be born from the ELAYS.
Ashoka Youth Venture – www.genv.net
Youth Venture enables young people to learn from early on in life that they can lead social change. Ashoka, a leading social entrepreneurship foundation, developed the concept of Youth Venture from understanding a key insight of Ashoka Fellows in the field of youth development: one of the most effective ways to improve the lives of youth is to empower them to realize their own ability to make positive social change.
Peace Child International – www.peacechild.org
Peace Child’s mission is to empower young people to be the change they want to see in the world. This theme is at the forefront of each of their projects and programmes, and is the standard by which they work. PCI supports young people around the world to produce books, musicals, educational materials, workshops and training courses on their major generational challenges: climate change, peace, human rights, poverty, and sustainable development.
Tierra Incógnita – www.tierra-incognita.ch
Tierra Incógnita is a cultural center in Geneva. One of their main objectives is the integration of Latin Americans in Geneva. They work towards social and cultural integration of inhabitants with Latin American roots. Tierra Incognita wants to strengthen the roots of the Latin American communities in Switzerland.
