Legal issues
There are no legal requirements if you want to start a project or an initiative. By law, you don’t need to register your project, nor form a legal person of any form. However, legal issues come up when it comes to distinguish your project from the people standing behind it: donations of money or other contributions might be made to the project – yet not on the bank accounts of the people standing behind it…
Especially when dealing with larger amounts of money, it is crucial to define the status of the project and at best form an association – as the simplest form of a legal person allowed to possess money.
