refiller

October 27, 2011 in Projects descriptions, refiller

Refiller’s objectives are to promote using personal reusable food and drink containers, such as water-bottles, coffee mugs and lunchboxes, instead of consumers producing waste from meal consumption like PET-bottles, disposable plastic, cardboard and aluminium boxes. Refiller works together with consumers and take-away restaurants, cooperating in order to create innovative ways to reduce resource consumption from increased waste production and consequent littering. The project aims at creating a lifestyle where refilling is part of people’s daily lives and where younger generations will identify with it – not because it is sustainable or ecological, but just because it makes sense.

  1. What a brilliant idea! i wish you all the best for achieving your goals!!

  2. Hello! I think what you’re doing is jsut the right thing!!!I was just wondering about the take-away restaurants. Do you already have partners? I think this is crucial to increase the numbers. (Also because I get so pissed of when they don’t accept to put food in your own box)!!!!!!!

    • thank you Karine for your comment! We are currently working on getting partners on board – so far we have some good, re-usable products on hand. Talking with take-aways and making them refillers will be the next step!!! Keep on trying and spread the idea!!!! Thanks

  3. Hi Janine, I agree. We are trying to make research going more into this direction… for more information and research inputs see http://www.refiller.ch – (re)think
